It's butterfly switches (afaik) but that's not the end of the world. They do bottom out pretty bad but like all keyboards I'll get used to it eventually and have a decent WPM.
The issue I have is that I like to use the keyboard to manage open windows, navigate links and scroll on the web, etc. The less mousing the better.
This means that my hands get pretty sweaty if I leave them on the keyboard all the time.
Unfortunately my baseline model isn't eligible for the keyboard repair program, something I just found out.
I've had it for a year and I do like macOS (there are a few things I'm not that keen on) overall. I'm thinking in time I might actually trade it in and upgrade to one of the 4 thunderbolt port models so that I can have more than 2 external monitors connected.
It's a good machine its just not perfect.
How are the regular scissor switches on yours? Do they bottom out as harshly as these ones?
